Solar PV Northumberland
GMC Solar Engineers just finished a Solar Power System for a Domestic Client in Northumberland.
The house although sizable represented design complications with many dormer windows and shapes.
The client had already had 2 solar PV sales companies round who lacked the product knowledge, design and installation skills to specify a suitable system.
After a survey on the initial visit, GMC prepared a detailed quote including design layout to aid the clients decision.
During the Survey GMC advised on suitable products, in this case a Solar Edge System was specified. This system is suited to systems with panels facing different directions. The system has 4 different orientations ruling out standard equipment. At the this stage GMC advised the client to go for black panels as these blend in with the existing slate roof covering making the system less obtrusive on the eye.
A Wattson Optimmersion was also fitted diverting any surplus energy to the hot water cylinder via the existing immersion.
The GMC on site Engineers worked though some terrible weather to keep the job running and client commented on how polite and tidy the tradesmen were on site
Information on both the solar panel used and the solar edge system are available to down load as PDF documents below.
