Based in Berwick upon Tweed, the Berwick community trust situated in the town centre off castlegate.

 

The trust originally approached GMC Solar in 2012 looking for advice on fitting a solar pv system. GMC were happy to advise and provide a quote for the work. With the building situated within the town conservation area some planning matters required sorting before any work could go ahead.

Fast forward to 2015 the trust were no in a position to order the pv system and require competitive quotes. Upon winning the tender GMC moved the installation straight into the work schedule upon the completion of the works as usual Neil provides a walk through service with Feed in tariff application as standard to make the whole process as straight forward as possible.

 

Berwick Community Trust works to make it better for residents, businesses and visitors to live, work and play in Berwick upon Tweed.

We manage projects that include helping job seekers find work, providing safe play opportunities for young people, easing the impact of fuel poverty, developing renewable energy generation and supporting older residents to lead active lives.

All the profit generated from our activities is reinvested in Berwick for the good of residents.
