Flood damage repair

Flood Damage repair started. After the heavy rain fall during November 2009 several properties close to the Tweed and surrounding water courses where flood damaged. GMC were brought in to this project for the drying out stage.
The research and development team developed a drying out strategy over an eight week programme. During this time moisture content levels were taken and recorded for analysis. Once these readings were at an exceptable level, the property is declared dry the reinstatement process begins. GMC are currently restoring this property. While also taking measures to the clients requirement to up-grade the properties flood defense system.

Damp proofing chemical applied to external wall and floor junction to prevent damp penetration.

During the drying out stage GMC were Commited to this project whatever obstacles arose!

GMC have now completed the restoration of this property.

GMC kitchen Retail supplied and installed this Crown kitchen with fully intergrated appliences.

Our GMC kitchen design team took on board the clients kitchen brief requesting a modernkitchen with a traditional feel combined with high levels of function.

GMC completed the full service for this property including

  • Drying the property out
  • Removing water damaged goods
  • monitoring moisture levels during drying stage
  • Re-enstating the damaged areas
  • Supply & installation of new kitchen
  • Co-ordinating all trades
  • Providing a one person link between client and project
