Lowick Village Hall
After GMC won a competitive tender work started removing existing floors throughout the building to make way for new insulation and sub-floors. Which received under-floor heating pipes serviced by the already installed ground source heat pump.
New drainage was installed to service the new lavatory arrangement. All internal walls were framed and insulated, while the stage area of historical and sentimental value was carefully restored using modern yet sympathetic methods and materials to retain its character as much as possible.
The existing suspended celling removed and the original celling with exposed pitch pine king trusses was revealed and restored and insulated.
GMC worked with the Lowick village hall committee members and remained versatile and dynamic through out the project to ensure the Lowick village hall was delivered on time and to the highest of standards.
